The Yarrnival Tournament of Arms!

Calling all pirates of the Starsea who want to show their prowess and mettle!
The Yarrnival's Tournament of Arms will be starting soon, all those who wish to test themselves are encouraged and welcome to send their applications to Salvatore 'Long Legs Hornigold. The tournament will have three categories to compete in, as well as a team melee between the Blackhearts and the Dreadwakes.
For the categories we have:
Veteran Buccaneers
This includes martial individuals with more than two years of training. The overall winner as determined by Dario "The Kraken" Ansell (Sir Varick) based on the matches fought will be awarded either a live cutlass by Captain Regulus "the Sky-Lion" Starbeard or, if a member of a Conclave or recently found guilty of treason, a pair of rebated cutlasses supplied by Dame Indigo "Bear Heart" Lonriksdottir (Dame Eeva).
New Privateers
This includes martial and non-martial individuals with fewer than two years of waking and/or martial training. The overall winner as determined by Dario "The Kraken" Ansell (Sir Varick) based on the matches fought will be awarded a pair of rebated cutlasses, supplied by Dame Indigo "Bear Heart" Lonriksdottir (Dame Eeva).
Sorcerous Corsairs
This includes sorcerers of any level of expertise. The overall winner as determined by Dario "The Kraken" Ansell (Sir Varick) based on the matches fought will be awarded a silver vial of sorcerous power and a battle robe by Queen Vaseana.
Matchups between competitors will be provided during the week, with the winner determined in a three bout match, and the pair will be allowed to find each other and fight when they can, and must be witnessed by any of the Captains, First Mates or Bosuns, or Sir Varick as the marshal. Word will then be sent to Salvatore Hornigold so that new matches and be announced.
Let the call be made for all those who wish to prove themselves as the best fighters the Starsea has to offer! If you wish to participate send word to Salvatore Hornigold, with your name, pirate name, and division by midnight this Sun's.

In the fierce match between Jacque "Feral Dog" Bunce and Elenora "The Brazen" Mainwaring the contest of arms went to Elenora Mainwaring!
In the Battle between Willa "The Flirt" Ansell and Regulus "The Sky Lion" Starbeard himself after three grueling rounds of combat the man himself claimed victory, Regulus Starbeard!
In the piratical display between Jean "Two Blades" Cooke and Vaughn Ugly Mug Vane showed that sometimes two blades are in fact better than one, your winner, Jean Cooke!

In the Match between that shameless Ever-Grin and the maniacal Crooked Claw Kat the battle went to Kat!

A note concerning the Sorcerous Corsairs
Wraust "The Whale-Fiend" has decided to stalk better waters, last seen parading about in a massive whale costume declaring that she might go find the sea to seek out greater glories. By default, your winner, and a Captain of some meager reknown, Rogelio de la Plasa!
I do highly encourage you all see to your next matches as soon as possible! In hopes that we might only have the final bouts to stand alongside our massive skirmish this coming Saturns!

The final matches of the Yarrnival tournament will be held at 6 LB on Saturn's Day the 14th. After this, a grand melee will be held between Blackheart and Dreadwake to determine who truly rules the Skysea! Regardless of if you're a watcher or a participant come and see the finale!
