Warning: Purge of Old Accounts

Hey all,

As everyone is by now aware, Skotos Tech has shut down and its former games have split apart and gone our own ways. As a condition to this split, and in order to remain in compliance with privacy laws, we are required by the end of the year to purge our database of any former user privacy information submitted to Skotos. What this means is that any former Skotos accounts that have not been logged on to Castle Marrach within the last year will be purged from our database, and this is irreversible.

How can you prevent this? If you log a character on to Castle Marrach, you consent to us retaining your account information, and that's all you need to do to preserve your account. If you are a former player of Castle Marrach who may someday wish to play again, I strongly suggest you take a moment to log in to the game -- since Castle Marrach is now a free-to-play game, there's no cost to doing so. If you are in contact with a former player who may not read these forums but might wish to keep their characters in Castle Marrach; please pass on the word.

The deadline for this process to be fully completed is by the end of 2020, which means we will be starting the process at some point next month. You have the best chance of securing your account if you log in before December.
