Guild Week Flyting - Woden's the 10th, 4th Moon, 6LB

For the Guild Week, the Duelist Society welcomes all in good standing with the Realm to take part in a flyting contest. Having proven your physical mettle in the Guild Week Tourney, will you also prove yourself capable of rapier wit and verbal riposte? Will you end Woden's with all present in approval of your puissance in pernicious perorations of poetry?

If so, come and join us!

The contest will be held on Woden's the 10th day of the 4th moon at 6 late bells, located in the Duelist Lounge. Those who wish to participate as competitors may send a note ahead of time or sign up on the day of the contest. All others are welcome to attend, partake of a libation courtesy of our exclusive bar, and vote on competitors.

For those attending, please be aware of the following:

1. All flyts are considered to be in Plaisance: a friendly duel of words. Be creative and entertaining. Oppress your opponent and impress the audience!
   
2. While about anything goes in flyting, have respect for your competitor and the spirit of the competition. Those who abuse and disrespect others in excess of the intent of the event may face disqualification.
   
3. Plaisance does not extend to physical bruising or injury. Duel only with words.
   
4. Each flyting round will be restricted to no more than four exchanges per person. A winner is decided either by popular vote at the end of the round, or if one side yields.
