The Mysterious Library's Tales

The time is short to complete the tales for the library. As such, we will be hosting bells in the Refactory on Tiu's, the 11th day of the 10th month at 10 EB and 7 LB specific to gathering submissions and putting them together to present to the bookworm. Dame Vessa will make herself available and alert other members of the army for escort from the inner to the Refactory for those needing escort that would like to participate in the collaboration of stories.

If you cannot attend the scheduled bells, but still wish to participate, please send your submissions to myself (Arlenia), and I will be certain that both Dame Vessa and Mistress Kaira have copies to be able to include them into the collaborations.

NOTE: The meeting place has been changed from the OB Library to the Refactory due to circumstances beyond our control.

After the first meeting, the following has been considered:

• Considering more than one type of ending. just in case.
  

Three endings so far have been proposed:

Happy - The lord is tricked by Beatrice, and they have an affair. Elaine discovers the affair, and is distraught. The Lord realizes the error of his ways, and to make amends to his wife, has Beatrice beheaded.

Sad - Beatrice twists the minds of both the Lord and the Lady. She convinces the Lady that her husband does not appreciate her, and encourages her to find solace in someone who will, but the lady does not. She convinces the Lord that the Lady has done exactly that - that the Lady is having an affair. In anger, the Lord sentences his wife to death by beheading for her affair. He discovers after the deed is done that Beatrice has lied, and his Lady stayed true to him despite the deceit. How he finds out has not been explored.

Sadder - Discover that the Lord sealed a contract with a dark force to have the wealth, beauty, and smooth tongue to woo the Lady. He ends up losing his flame over time as the spell fades and his side of the contract goes unfulfilled. Beatrice is part of the cursed deal, and because the spell has faded, Beatrice is rejected. In revenge, because no one will have the Lord but her, she beheads him. In retaliation for killing her love, Elaine beheads Beatrice. And then, Beatrice is sentenced to death for murder, beheading.

More ideas will be welcomed at the later bell at 7 late, and will also be posted.
